Boobapalooza South Lake Tahoe 2001 (March 23-25, 2001) pg2

We head off to Planet Hollywood for a bite to eat, take some photos, then head off to Nero's, the bigger nightclub inside Caesar's. It gets a little fuzzy at this point...as the Captain and I are big pals...and I see my darlin' Maggie dancing with what looks like a bad version of the male singer from the B52s..can you say, "LOVE SHACK"..!!! I think her beer goggles were really foggy because she thought that he was just all that and then some. It took all of us girls to convince her that he was a goof and to move on! That night ended at I think 6:00 am for myself and my two pals, but I think that SOME of the crew called it an early night!! Teehee!

The next morning was pretty brutal in our room. We all were pretty tired being that we had little to no sleep so basically we rested for most of the early day.

Yeah Marlo and the rest if them were STILL sleeping or trying to when we called so we waited awhile before crashing their room. When we finally walked in their room as you can imagine it looked like 3 girls were staying there alright. There were shoes everywhere, clothes everywhere - I think Maggie brought her whole closet. Everyone look TIRED, but they were off on an adventure so we let them be. M

Leah Anne pointed out to me that the shoes that I had borrowed from Maggie the night before had caused huge water blisters on both of my little toes, how lovely, so off we were in search of shoe stores. I needed to find something that was both cute and functional...a pretty grand task. We found a PayLess Shoe Source about 10 miles out of town and hit pay dirt! Now back to Caesar's to get ready for night number 2!

It's Cleo's again for our meeting spot. I didn't have to worry so much about spending money on drinks because Maggie had a somehow managed to get us a "complimentary" bottle of Captain Morgan's sent up to our room. More on that subject later. Maggie and I decided to have another go at Nero's and pulled another, oh, say, 6am all nighter. The rest of the Boobapalooza crew had a little gathering/pajama party in one of the rooms. I'll let Francesca or Marianne fill you in on their fun!
